MIIC Presentations
MIIC Presentations show how many patients arrived at the Minor Injury and Illness Centre within the latest quarter. Attendances indicate the demand for emergency care services. The number of patients in each triage category shows the mix of urgency.
MIIC Length of Stay less then 4 hours
This shows the percentage of patients whose stay in the Minor Injury and Illness Centre was within four hours per quarter. The higher the percentage, the better the performance. It is measured from the time the patient arrives at the MIIC to the time the patient has physically left, whether the patient is transferred to another hospital, or goes home.
MIIC Average Length of Stay
This shows the average length of time a patient’s visit. The figure reported is for the latest quarter only. It is measured from the time the patient arrives at the facility to the time the patient has physically left, whether the patient is transferred to another hospital, or goes home.
