Queensland Reporting Hospitals
Hospital activity
There are currently 106 reporting hospitals in Queensland. Each year, the hospitals admit 1.6 million patients and provide more than 2.3 million emergency services and more than 6.5 million outpatient services.
Satellite Hospitals are the latest expansion of healthcare services available across South East Queensland.
The seven satellite facilities are open and providing support to their local communities.

- Bribie Island Satellite Hospital, Yarun.
This new option for care closer to home is having a positive impact on our healthcare system by reducing low acuity emergency department presentations at nearby Caboolture, Logan, Redland, Ipswich, The Prince Charles and Robina Hospitals.

Radiation treatment
Radiation therapy services are available at seven public hospitals in Queensland. Hospital services report on next available start dates for radiation therapy planning and treatment according to priority categories which are based on clinical need. More about the priority categories.
