Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) is the city’s premier tertiary-level facility. The facility comprises 864 funded hospital beds or bed alternatives providing modern, world-class tertiary hospital care, with more than 70 per cent private rooms. It is located (together with Griffith University and Gold Coast Private Hospital) in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, a legacy of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
