There are currently 106 reporting hospitals in Queensland. Each year, the hospitals admit 1.6 million patients and provide more than 2.3 million emergency services and more than 6.5 million outpatient services.
Satellite Hospitals are the latest expansion of healthcare services available across South East Queensland.
The seven satellite facilities are open and providing support to their local communities.

This new option for care closer to home is having a positive impact on our healthcare system by reducing low acuity emergency department presentations at nearby Caboolture, Logan, Redland, Ipswich, The Prince Charles and Robina Hospitals.
