The Longreach Hospital provides 24-hour accident and emergency care and is available to respond to emergencies 24/7 through the Triple Zero (000) system. It also offers acute inpatient services, pharmacy, physiotherapy and radiology services and outpatient clinics. Longreach hosts the district's maternity and visiting surgical services, mental health and community health services.
