Charters Towers Health Service offers a range of hospital services including 24-hour accident and emergency care, general in-patient care and primary care services. Several clinics including allied health and community health services are provided from the hospital. Visiting specialist services are also available, including surgical, gastroenterology, paediatric, women's health and respiratory services as well as a visiting drug and alcohol service. The Charters Towers Midwifery Group practice offers a continuity-of-care model to the women of Charters Towers and surrounding community providing ante-natal and post-natal care.
